DESCRIPTION:If you have NEVER danced salsa before\, this is where you start. Even if you think you have two left feet… we will get you dancing! \nFor those with a little dance experience\, or even for those with a bit more experience\, we also teach fundamental principles and techniques imperative to speed\, balance\, and style as you progress through your dance journey. \nThis course is partially progressive. Each class we will go over the basic step\, plus learn one new foundational salsa move\, including right and left hand turns\, cross body lead\, different basic step variations\, frame\, technique\, connection\, etc. The basic step will remain constant in each class. \nAttending the full four-week course is encouraged but not required.

We focus on building strong lead/follow connections\, frame\, and the importance of timing\, so you not only can dance with your classmates\, but also anyone outside of this class. \nThis course is partially progressive. We will review things we’ve learned in previous classes\, and build upon those skills as the weeks progress. \n\nAttending the full four-week course is highly encouraged\, but not required.

DESCRIPTION:All levels are welcomed to this class that meets you where you are\, and invites you to explore the breath\, slow flow and gentle strength building through yoga postures. We will start class slowly\, build a bit of energy\, and end with a cool down and rest to carry you off of your mat and into your day with grounded clarity. No experience needed. Please bring an exercise or yoga mat and wear clothing that allows you to move freely on your mat.
